Find the night owls.
Audience research focused on young professionals, creatives and late-night enthusiasts. The identity needed to speak to a premium escape after hours, not simply another coffee stop.
Brand identity / Social grid / Digital strategy
An identity for
after hours.
Warm conversations. A darker canvas. A café with its own point of view.

01 / The brief
Midnight Cafe, an upscale evening destination in Kanpur, wanted to capture the essence of late-night conversations and premium dining. The brief called for a comprehensive brand identity and a social launch that felt cohesive, cosy, mysterious and inviting.
The challenge
In a crowded local café market, a premium physical atmosphere was not enough. The digital presence needed a recognisable emotional narrative—something more distinctive than generic, brightly lit food photography.
The connective thread / Concept map
Each decision informs the next. Here is how the thinking connects across this project.

02 / The strategy
Not just what we made. Why the approach made sense for Midnight Cafe.
Audience research focused on young professionals, creatives and late-night enthusiasts. The identity needed to speak to a premium escape after hours, not simply another coffee stop.
Deep blacks, rich shadows and warm glowing accents translated streetlights and midnight coffee into a visual language. The approach balanced mystery with a welcoming tone.
Nine Instagram posts were composed as one continuous canvas, while each post could stand alone. Menu, ambience, ethos and location became parts of the same introduction.
03 / The execution
The visual system was paired with a tonal vocabulary for night owls, creatives and professionals. The published case study also describes a phased, geo-targeted Instagram and Facebook launch campaign, focused on local audiences during evening decision-making hours.
