01 / The brief

A good story starts
with a clear question.

Hotel Rass wanted a digital presence that reflected its physical hospitality experience and supported direct reservations. The existing website needed a clearer, more dependable booking journey rather than continued dependence on third-party travel platforms.

The challenge

An outdated website and a fragmented booking experience made direct reservations harder than they needed to be. The design and engineering had to connect property discovery, room selection and payment, especially on phones.

The connective thread / Concept map

A little signal.
A lot of intent.

Each decision informs the next. Here is how the thinking connects across this project.

  1. 01 / Insight

    Map the guest journey.

  2. 02 / Direction

    Make mobile the starting point.

  3. 03 / Expression

02 / The strategy

The thinking
behind the feeling.

Not just what we made. Why the approach made sense for Hotel Rass.

01

Map the guest journey.

Discovery focused on booking pain points and business requirements. The architecture connected exploring the property with a clear path to reservation.

02

Make mobile the starting point.

The interface prioritised thumb-friendly navigation and clear booking prompts. A gold-and-charcoal visual system carried the property’s premium character into the digital experience.

03

Engineer the reservation flow.

A custom Python Flask backend supported room inventory logic, Razorpay payments, confirmation emails and updates for the hotel’s front desk workflow.

03 / The execution

From direction
to the details.

The published implementation combines HTML5, Tailwind CSS and Vanilla JavaScript with Python Flask and Razorpay. The project presentation also includes location integration and mobile layouts for browsing and booking.
